Gastineau Channel District

The Gastineau Channel separates Juneau, Alaska, from Douglas Island.  Prior to the creation of Scout councils in Alaska, Scouts in the Alaska Territory were served by the Seattle Area Council.  Seattle Area Council newsletters included news about Scouting in this district until the 1930's.
